ABSTRACT Although Brazil has one of the highest scorpion diversities worldwide, fauna Amazon region remains relatively poorly described. In this study, we updated list species from state Acre, in southwestern Brazilian Amazon, based on a revision records contained arachnid collections and survey relevant literature. We recorded occurrence seven belonging to two families (Buthidae Chactidae) among which report three new (Ananteris sp., Tityus (Tityus) gasci, Chactopsis cf. insignis) for Acre. The results presented herein make an important contribution knowledge diversity Amazonian forests
